a couple months back i tried using one of those big lizards that live in the keys. no sucess!
I have used the guts of a bonita to catch a 3' hammerhead (not bonnethead), when I was trying to catch bait.
I've used a remora to catch a big nurse
Getting a good bait or two is getting tough for me due to the weather right now but I live on a pond FILLED with big 2 1/2ft Plecostomus catfish (armor plated suckerfish) and Tilapia. Im thinking of giving them a shot tnight. Hopefully it works! IDK though... 
i used a peacock bass one time and didnt catch squat

May try Plecostomus LOL! Guess I wont have to worry about crabs huh?! LOL! Theyre armor plated! 
Spam. There is a freshwater inlet and spring here where the bull pups gather, can catch twenty of em in a day on the stuff lol.

i know a guy that found a dead sea gull on used for bait.....caught a tiger with it to boot.
